Being a Southerner in Los Angeles, the fashion trends certainly took some getting used to. It seemed as though every designer was using t-shirts in order to make a statement or promote a cause. I liked the craze, defining one's self through cotton; however, I was unsuccessful in finding a shirt that seemed to fit who I was. As an Artist and a creator I sought to design my own shirts. Thus was born . It is the phonetic spelling of the signature Southern word "y'all" that holds a permanent place in every Southerner's vocabulary. It can be singular, plural, or even possessive depending on who is using it. It is certainly much easier to spit out than "you guys" or even "you all." Like my shirts, it just fits. Whether you're a native of the South, or simply an honorary member, I hope you are able to experience the warmth and diversity of the culture of my part of the country.
